1963 Library مكتبة ١٩٦٣ is named after the year Dubai’s first public library, Al Ras Public Library, was inaugurated by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The name bridges past and future, rooted in Dubai’s heritage of knowledge and education, yet carrying a modern tone that resonates with the city’s forward-looking spirit. The logo reflects this same balance: minimal, contemporary, and timeless, with a subtle tribute to the turning of paper pages.
